It is possible to replace data in an analysis in TIBCO Spotfire. Replacing data allows you to reuse the visualizations and all other settings from an analysis file but with new data.
Overview
This can for example be useful if an analysis is set up to analyze certain aspects of sales figures. Then the same analysis file can be used to analyze the sales figures for different months or years. Instead of setting up a new analysis file each time new data is available, the old data can be replaced with the new data.
If the new data has columns that are named differently than the columns in the old data, these columns has to be matched to each other to be able to analyze the new data using the old analysis file.
