The Spotfire Analytic Server’s User Services enable Spotfire
Administrators to quickly and easily set up, store and manage
user accounts, user groups, passwords, licensing, preferences,
and permissions. These user profiles are used across the platform
to drive data access, content management, and application permissions.
After your solution is published and access rights configured,
the next time a Spotfire client logs into the Spotfire Analytics
Server, any new components they are entitled to are automatically
downloaded and installed.
The applications and the components are managed through a
centralized security, permission and meta model system. The
platform makes it easy to maintain, distribute and upgrade applications
for your user communities.
