Integrating with Spotfire S+

TIBCO Spotfire S+ and Spotfire S+ Server are environments for advanced statistical calculations. Spotfire Professional can integrate with them to enrich analyses, for instance to perform outlier detection, data classification or prediction.

Overview

By creating an extension to Spotfire, the extension can transfer data to S+ where a calculation is performed, and then read the result back into Spotfire as new data columns or a new data table. Suitable extensions for this are calculations and transformations where data can be added or modified, and fitting models where curve parameters can be calculated and then the curves can displayed in a visualization.
